I’m Mustafa Torun, a Senior Principal Engineer at Amazon Web Services with more than 20 years of experience building systems and growing teams. Since 2013 I’ve worked on foundational services in monitoring, event-driven architecture and large-scale operational automation. I helped guide CloudWatch Logs through massive growth and was the first engineer on what became AWS EventBridge. Before AWS I co-founded one of Turkey’s first online flower delivery services and worked full stack for a hedge fund during my PhD in statistical signal processing.
